I’m Ilhan, an artist whose love for animals started long before I held a pencil with purpose.
As a child, I was fascinated by animals collecting toy figures, caring for pets, and watching the way their personalities lit up a home. That love never faded. Instead, it evolved. When I grew older, I found myself sketching cats, dogs, and wildlife at first just for fun, then for friends, and eventually, for clients who deeply cherished their pets.
In 2018, I took a leap and started focusing solely on pet illustration. It was no longer just a passion it was my calling. Since then, I’ve had the honor of creating over 250,000+ custom pet portraits for people all over the world, and even worked with major companies to bring their animal-inspired visions to life. Throughout it all, one thing has remained constant: my commitment to quality and emotional connection in every piece I create.
The Aeterna was born from a moment of realization, every time I delivered a portrait to someone close to me, I saw genuine joy in their eyes. That kind of happiness is rare, and I felt compelled to share it with more people. I wanted to create something that wasn’t just beautiful, but deeply personal.
We believe pet portraits are more than decoration. They’re a celebration of love, of companionship, of the silent comfort our pets give us every day. If we can help someone capture those emotions and preserve them through timeless art, then I know this journey has been worth it.
